Here Comes the Sun
This beautiful artwork was designed by Becky of Tigerlily Graphics and inspired by imagery shared by survivors of gender-based violence accessing supports and services from Embrave.
Becky incorporated the concept of motherhood and nature, two images and themes that were widely utilized in the survivor art pieces.
The idea of having an open book represents the importance of story telling as a tool of connection and healing. You are the only person who can determine readiness to share your story on your own terms. The idea of ownership over your own story and journey was very important in the design.
This design is beautifully colourful and vibrant and captures the essence of strength and resilience in every survivor's story.
All funds raised from the purchase of Embrave's merchandise will support our emergency shelters for survivors of gender-based violence and their children in our community.
